Overpressure valves A 60-50 N and A 450-50 N are one-way exhaust valves that regulate the overpressure in an airlock. The valves regulate the overpressure to approximately 50 Pa. No special adjustments are required for these valves.
Overpressure and Safety Valves
The Overpressure and Safety Valves: Z 150-25 SN and Z 450-50 SN regulate the differential pressure between a main chamber and an airlock. The Z 150-25 SN valve is adjustable to a range of approximately 30-250 Pa. at a nominal airflow rate of 150 m³/h and the Z 450-50 SN valve is adjustable to a range of approximately 50-250 Pa. at a nominal airflow rate of 450 m³/h, both by means of a slider.
The incorporated safety feature of these two valves opens the valve automatically when the overpressure in the compartment reaches approximately 350 Pa. and closes the valve when the pressure decreases below the threshold.
This safety feature prevents the NBC chamber from bursting if the overpressure exceeds acceptable limitations, which could result from inadvertent closure of the valve. The safety valve opens automatically, even if locked in the closed position, and closes when the pressure decreases below the threshold.
In case of a sudden air supply disruption (due to a power failure etc.), the overpressure and safety valves can be closed simply and completely by operating a slider. This way, the over-pressure will remain for as long as is possible inside the tent.
