Beth-El filtration systems can be connected to gas masks via a manifold for vehicles that are open or unsealed. The CBRN ventilation / filtration system incorporates the same properties as the regular VM systems, filtering sand, dust, fine dust, and NBC particulates, as well as being able to incorporate air conditioning, which is supplied directly to the masks and protective suits. These systems create a mild, constant overpressure inside each face mask and suit, allowing free movement and very easy breathing inside an individually protected environment.
The systems are capable of supplying purified air for between 1 and 10 people, depending upon the model used, and can be utilized in vehicles, containers, helicopters, or other vehicle types. Because each mask is individually supplied with purified air, a very high level of operational safety is achieved for the users, which is valuable in traditional conflict scenarios as well as asymmetric threat scenarios. The systems are capable of 24/7 operation and with the solid carbon filters, also protect against filter degradation from high humidity environments.
