For Filtration Systems in Vehicles and Mobile Shelters

The remote control unit is an electrical control box that makes it possible to operate and ­control a filtration system that is located outside the shelter, container, or vehicle without the need of leaving the protected area. The unit has to be simply installed at a suitable location in the ­protected compartment and connected to the filtration system by an airtight wall transition. Using a remote control unit enables the running of the system from within the protected area, informing the user about the overpressure in the compartment.

The remote control unit indicates the total running hours of the system as well as the hours operated while in filtration mode and furthermore, it shows when the system is configured in either ventilation or in filtration mode. If during operation the overpressure drops out of the acceptable range (is adjustable), an audible alarm and a red light indicate the discrepancy until the pressure returns or the ‘mute’ button is triggered. The remote control unit is easy to retrofit and is designed for use in conjunction with Beth-El NBC filtration systems.
