Combined Ventilation / Dust Filtration, NBC / TIC-Filtration, and Air Conditioning Systems

The Beth-El EPCS system series (Environmental Protection and Control System) are compact and modular, hybrid ventilation and NBC filtration systems that are combined with an air conditioning unit, designed to provide humidity and temperature controlled clean air to the vehicle crew compartment. In addition, carbon monoxide filtration is integrated with the system, which cleans the air from harmful gases, protecting the crew from toxic levels of noxious gasses that WHO (the World Health Organization) and the EU (European Union) have created new legislation against.

Beth-El Industries’ CBRN (NBC) protection systems for various types of tracked and wheeled armoured vehicles are not only CBRN filtration systems, but complete environmental, air filtration systems. When combined with overpressure inside the vehicle or other protected compartment, the system protects the crew and any sensitive equipment.

Unlike other NBC protection systems, the Beth-El EPCS systems are designed to protect the vehicle and crew in traditional conflict scenarios, as well as combating asymmetric threat scenarios with constant (24/7) protection for years. For open vehicles, it is also an option for individual filtering of heated / cooled air to face masks and NBC protective suits. All Beth-El NBC filtration systems also protect against filter and vehicle component wear-and-tear caused by hostile environments, like degradation by humidity and clogging by desert sand and fine dust.
