The FA 160 ZM-2 NBC system is modular, which enables it to stack in order to increase airflow and for simple logistics, and with its highly efficient and self-cleaning cyclone filter, the filtration system protects sensitive equipment from sand, dust, and fine dust infiltration. Used in a wide range of collective protection facilities, such as mobile command posts, military camps, and medical centres, the system can be quickly deployed, enabling the highest possible reliability for continuous (24/7) operation for a prolonged period of time.

During a CBRN threat, the FA 160 ZM-2 creates a positive pressure inside the tent / compartment, preventing the penetration of contaminates or dust. This relieves the occupants from wearing gas masks and protective clothing inside the pressurized area. The versatile design of the FA 160 ZM-2 also enables the system to create a negative pressure inside the protected environment in order to isolate contaminated personnel and/or equipment from the outside environment.
