Developed to meet strict guidelines for protection against NBC threats, humidity damage, and dust and fine dust infiltration, the VM-series with bypass valve NBC protection systems have been accommodated into numerous containers and armoured vehicle chassis. The systems incorporate a highly efficient cyclone-filter for heavy duty sand and dust ­extraction, followed by a prefilter for any ­remaining fine dust. An NBC filter stage follows these dust ­filtration stages to remove nuclear, biological, and chemical ­particles from the air.

The technologically advanced bypass valve enables the system to operate safely, as opposed to competitor systems, which are plagued with problems caused by the degradation over time of the filters and the potential for leaks due to oxidation and rust build-up

Beth-El systems have a low volume, are light weight, and due to patented filter technologies, the systems’ high protection factor and performance are not impeded. An additional prefilter extends the service life of the NBC filter cartridge and the cyclone filter is maintenance free. Minimally aging carbon provides tremendous benefits and reduces environmental problems. The VM systems are also capable of the adsorption of toxic industrial chemicals (i.e. ammonia, ethylene oxide, formaldehyde, nitrogen oxide etc.) and the system has been tested and certified by internationally esteemed military laboratories.
