Cost Effective, Reliable, Portable, and Easy to Operate NBC-Protection System for the Whole Family

The Rainbow 36 NBC filtration system is a cost effective and reliable way to protect your family from Toxic Industrial Materials (TIMs) or Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical particulates in the air caused by (NBC) warfare. The system can be installed in a sealed and protected room that has a maximum volume of 36 cubic meters. The Rainbow system provides an adequate supply of clean, filtered air for up to 6 people.

The system creates an overpressure inside the protected room, thus effectively preventing the penetration of gases from outside. By relieving the occupants of wearing gas masks and protective clothing, the Rainbow 36 enables a safe, free, and ­comfortable stay.

The air inlet and outlet valves and blast protection, developed as a result of the experiences of the Gulf War, provide high blast protection for the interior of the shelter. An important user’s feature is an airflow indicator that, with a spinning pinwheel, indicates when the correct over-pressure has been achieved inside the protected area.

The system operates from a standard AC power outlet with an integrated battery back-up in case of a power failure. The battery will run the system for up to 10 hours and will begin to recharge as soon as the system is reconnected to a live AC power source. A manual blower is also available as a second back-up that can be used alternatively or in the case of a drained or empty battery.
