NBC-Protection System Blast Valves for Bomb Shelters and Protected Compartments

Beth-El's blast valves, overpressure blast valves, pre-filtered blast valves, and double action blast valves, are used to stop blast waves from entering a bomb shelter or protected compartment and to regulate the inside air pressure.

They are normally open and when needed, the valve closes when an explosion occurs outside the protected area. 

Beth-El Industries" blast valves with prefilters can have a pre-filtration efficiency of up to approximately 90 % and the blast valves can withstand blast waves of 3, 11, 40, 60, and even higher reflected pressure. The double action valves protect against both explosive and implosive waves. Beth-El's blast valves are tested and certified for compliance to the applicable Israeli, Singaporean, and Swiss Standards.

All of Beth-El's blast valves are tested and certified to the Israeli Standard 4570 by the Civil Defence Command and the Standards Institution of Israel. The blast valves are maintenance-free, withstand heat and corrosion, and the valve's springs are manufactured from special stainless steel. All steel parts are zinc or phosphate treated and finished with a powder coating.
