Beth-El Industries' Gas-tight Housings for Contamination-free HEPA Filter Exchange

The Beth-El Safe Change Filter Housings are gas tight housings for contamination-free HEPA filter exchange. The Safe Change Housing type FU is made from fully welded stainless steel (304 grade in the standard version and 316 grade optionally available) and is fully compliant for use in BSL 3 and BSL 4 laboratories (BSL = Bio Safety Laboratories – as specified from US CDC department).

The Safe Change Housing type FU is used in nuclear power stations, BSL 3 / BSL 4 laboratories, hospitals, institutes, veterinary facilities, and chemical laboratories. For use with exhaust air, industries such as the pharmaceutical industry, semiconductor industry,the chemical industry, and permanent (negative pressure) isolation rooms in hospitals are common. For use with supply air, common uses include control rooms, which require this technology for accident preparedness, permanent (positive pressure) isolation rooms in hospitals, animal disease laboratories, toxic waste isolation plants, and fuel processing facilities.

The Safe Change Housing type HO is made from mild steel, has a phosphate treatment, and has a powder coating finish that can be decontaminated. These safe change housings are used (with exhaust air) in the pharmaceutical industry and semiconductor industry. They are used with supply air for permanent positive pressure isolation rooms in hospitals, in fuel processing facilities, and in food processing facilities.
